Santa Barbara Real Estate for Carpinteria/Summerland and the Gap between Median Sales and Median List Prices for 1/1/2014 to 12/18/14

For Santa Barbara Real Carpinteria Real Estate/Summerland Real Estate area for the Home Estate/PUD through 12/18/14 there have been 80 sales compared to 101 last year for a 20.8% drop and the median sales price has gone up from $855,000 to $922,500 for a 7.9% rise.

The gap between the median list price of about $2,112,000 and the median sales price of $922,500 is -56.3% whereas last year the median list price of $2,397,500 and the median sales price of $855,000 gave us a -64.3% gap.

For the condo market in Carpinteria Real Estate/Summerland Real Estate through 12/18/14 there have been 44 sales compared to 81 last year for a 45.7% drop while the median sales price went up from $445,000 last year to $500,000 this year for an +12.5% rise.

The gap between the median list price this year of $540,000 and the median sales price of $500,500 gives us a gap of 07.3% difference where as last year the median list price was $549,000 and the median sales price was $445,000 for a -18.9% gap.
