For Santa Barbara Real Estate Carpinteria Real Estate/Summerland Real Estate area for the Home Estate/PUD through 3/21/15there have been 21 sales compared to 9 last year for a 133.3% rise and the median sales price has gone up from $845,000 to $886,000 for a 4.9% rise.   

The gap between the median list price of about $1,497,000 and the median sales price of $886,000 is -40.8% whereas last year the median list price of $2,725,000 and the median sales price of $845,000 gave us a -69.0% gap.

For the condo market in Carpinteria Real Estate/Summerland Real Estate through 3/21/15 there have been 13 sales compared to 5 last year for a 160.0% rise while the median sales price went down from $552,800 last year to $465,000 this year for an -11.8% fall.

The gap between the median list price this year of $652,450 and the median sales price of $465,000 gives us a gap of -28.7% difference where as last year the median list price was $547,000 and the median sales price was $527,500 for a -3.6% gap.
